OpsTower
About us

We didn't set out to build software

We set out to stop losing money. OpsTower began as an internal tool for our own eyewear brands, built because the alternatives were expensive, fragmented, and clearly designed by people who had never cleared an NDR queue at 11pm.

It worked well enough that other founders started asking for access. So we productised it.

The problem we kept paying for

Running three eyewear brands in India teaches you where the money actually leaks. It is not in ad spend, where everyone looks. It is in the gap after the customer clicks buy.

A WhatsApp platform charging us more per message than Meta charged them. A courier panel that buried failed deliveries in emails nobody read, until a week later they were returns. A returns process that ran on a shared inbox and a spreadsheet, where every refund was a sale we had already stopped fighting for.

Six vendors, six invoices, six logins, and no single screen that told us what was actually happening to our orders.

So we built the screen. Then the WhatsApp layer on our own Meta API, which cut that bill by more than half. Then the NDR queue, which cut RTO by 23% in two months, because the fix was never a better courier — it was acting within the hour.

Then the fulfillment rules, so routine orders shipped themselves. Then returns, reviews, and a mobile app, because each one was another vendor we no longer needed.

Everything in OpsTower exists because it solved a problem that was costing us real money first.

Our mission

Give every Indian D2C brand the operating system that large brands build in-house — at a price a bootstrapped founder can actually pay.

The tools that make big brands efficient are not magic; they are just expensive. We think a brand doing 500 orders a month deserves the same operational leverage as one doing 50,000, and we price so that it can have it.

Our vision

A thousand Indian brands where no sale is lost to a failed delivery, an unanswered message, or a return that was too hard to process.

Indian e-commerce loses a staggering amount to RTO, silence and friction after checkout. We want to be the reason that number falls — one brand, one queue cleared, one exchange saved at a time.

How we decide things

Not aspirational posters — these are the rules that settled real arguments about what to build.

1

Never surprise an operator

Every campaign shows its exact audience count and demands confirmation before it sends. Every automation rule starts in dry-run. We built these guardrails because we once watched a mis-filtered campaign nearly reach an entire contact list — the fear of that moment is designed into the product.

2

Take no cut we haven't earned

WhatsApp conversations are billed to you by Meta, at Meta's rates, with zero markup from us. We charge a flat platform fee for software we actually built. If we ever make money from your message volume, we'd start wanting you to send more messages than your customers want to receive.

3

Your data leaves when you do

Your contacts, your templates, your numbers — all exportable, all deletable. Your WhatsApp number stays registered to your own Meta account, so switching away from us costs you nothing but a migration. Lock-in is a confession that the product isn't good enough to keep you.

4

Speed beats sophistication

A failed delivery actioned in twenty minutes saves the order. The same failure actioned in three days becomes an RTO. Most of what we build is about compressing the time between something going wrong and someone doing something about it.

5

Ship it on our own stores first

Every module runs on our own brands before it reaches a customer. We find the ugly edge cases — the courier API that breaks returns, the payment gateway that names COD three different ways — on our own orders, not yours.
